Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Sprat Run is a free browser game. You don't need an account and we never ask for your name, email or any other details to play. This policy explains the little data that is processed when you visit rubigames.shop, and your rights.

1. Who we are

The website rubigames.shop and the game Sprat Run are operated by Revolando Ltd, which is the data controller for the processing described here.

Revolando Ltd
Private company limited by shares, registered in England and Wales
Company number: 13800879
Registered office: 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU, United Kingdom

2. What we process and why

a) Game data that stays on your device

Your best score, your language choice and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage (spratrun.best, spratrun.lang, spratrun.consent). They are never sent to us. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

b) Technical data needed to deliver the site

When you open the site, your browser sends technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting and network provider Cloudflare processes this to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse and attacks. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

c) Basic visit statistics

We count visits to understand how many people play and from which countries and device types. For this our site sets two first-party cookies with random identifiers (see the table below). For each visit we record the time, the approximate country (worked out by Cloudflare from your IP address) and the device type (phone, tablet or computer). We do not store your IP address in these statistics and we don't use them to identify you. Visit-level records are deleted after 90 days; after that only aggregated counts remain. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

d) Marketing measurement — only with your consent

If you click "Accept" in the cookie banner, we load Google Tag Manager, which loads the Meta Pixel. Meta may then receive your IP address, browser and device information, the pages you view and actions on the site, and its own cookie identifiers. We use this to measure how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work and to show them to people who may enjoy the game. Meta processes this data under its own privacy policy. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). If you click "Decline", or don't choose, none of this is loaded.

e) Messages you send us

If you email us, we process your email address, any name you give and the content of your message to reply to you. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Who we share data with

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery, security and email routing.
  • Google (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) — Google Tag Manager, only with your consent.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Limited — Meta Pixel, only with your consent.
  • Public authorities, if we are required to by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations (including the UK-US Data Bridge), the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep data

  • Visit records: 90 days, then only aggregated counts.
  • Technical data processed by Cloudflare: according to Cloudflare's retention periods, generally a short time.
  • Emails: up to 24 months after our last message with you.
  • Data in your browser: until you clear it.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we don't ask who you are, we may need some information from you (for example, the approximate time of your visit) to find your data. To use your rights, email support@rubigames.shop. We reply within one month.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113. If you live in the European Economic Area or in Brazil, you can also contact your local data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).

8. Children

Sprat Run is a general audience game. Playing does not require any personal details. Marketing cookies are only used with consent; if you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before clicking "Accept". If you think a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

The site is served only over HTTPS. Access to our statistics is limited to authorised staff.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will show a notice on the site.
